National project "Tourism and the hospitality industry": Tula restaurants participate in the gastronomic festival "Russian Breakfast"
On October 1, the Russian Breakfast gastronomic festival started in 20 Russian cities.

This large-scale cultural and gastronomic project has been implemented since 2023. It is aimed at supporting and promoting Russian cuisine and regional products.

"Russian cuisine, the cuisines of the peoples of Russia are still a kind of exotic in our country. There are still not enough offers on the market today to open a restaurant serving the cuisine of the peoples of Russia. The formula of this national project for the practical implementation of Russian cuisine in our lives is the participation of all interested parties," says Ekaterina Shapovalova, author of the concept of the Russian Breakfast project, head of the All–Russian Gastronomic Map of Russia project.

As part of the festival, chefs have developed their own morning dishes in five categories using local dairy ingredients: porridges, dairy desserts, cottage cheese dishes, cheese dishes and egg dishes.

The Tula region is represented by the cafe "Gnezdo", "Workshop of this city", the restaurant "SheLESt" and "Secular" in the "Russian Breakfast". Restaurant guests will be able to taste, for example, Guryev porridge, yogurt mousse with walnuts, cheesecakes with mountain ash and sour cream, ryazhenka blancmange with berry yogurt crumbs.

"Gastronomic tourism plays an important role in shaping the attractiveness of the region, contributing to its economic development and increasing the brand awareness of the territory. Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaevoutlined in the strategy socially-the economic development of the Tula region is aimed at increasing the tourist flow. The region's participation in federal projects allows it to generate sustained guest interest in the Tula event calendar," said Alexander Yaroshevsky, Minister of Economic Development of the Tula Region.
