National project "Tourism and the hospitality Industry": Tula hotel became the winner of the national tourism Award.
The winners of the National Tourism Award "Route Built" for the 2023/2024 season have been announced in Moscow. Russian tourists and an expert jury have identified the best in the industry.
The Route Built Award for the development of domestic tourism is organized by the Komsomolskaya Pravda media group and has been awarded for the third year. This year, 792 applications from 70 Russian regions were submitted for 19 nominations.
From May 17 to June 7, Russian tourists selected the most interesting projects in each of the 19 nominations. And then the jury members, including experts from the tourism industry, representatives of official structures and the media sphere, identified the three winners from the shortlist.
Tula region took the first place in the nomination "Hotel of the Year 4-5* / business hotels" (AZIMUT City Hotel Tula).
"Tula region is becoming more attractive for tourists from year to year. Within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry", a lot of work is underway to increase the number of rooms and attract tourists to the region. We are grateful to the investors for the implementation of tourism projects in the Tula region," said Deputy Minister of Economic Development Larisa Sadova.
