In Tula, an off-site lesson was held for students of a tourist class created on the initiative of regional the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Tourism. The project helps students take their first steps in the profession. The children from the Donskoy City Education Center No. 2 visited the Tula Lutheran Chapel and got acquainted with the work of guides in practice.
The students were told about the modern requirements for the profession of a guide: today, in order to work in the region, it is necessary to pass a mandatory certification — to confirm knowledge, skills and obtain an official certificate.
According to the Minister of Tourism of the Tula region Elena Martynova, cooperation with the expert community and employers within the framework of the federal project "Professionalism" in the field of Tourism and services on the basis of the Don Polytechnic College, allows students and schoolchildren to form a career trajectory in the learning process.
The "Personnel for Tourism" initiative and the support measures available under the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" ensure the formation of the human resources potential of the industry. The solution to this problem is also integrated into the Governor's Dmitry Milyaev strategy for the development of the tourism industry.
