Near to the corner of Sovetskaya Street and Krasnoarmeysky Avenue, directly in the neighborhood of the city among multi-storey houses you can find the beautiful functional church — Nikola's Temple on Rzhavtsa. In 1749 instead of the wooden church the stone Nativity Temple was built with a limit of Saint Nicholas, and also later with a limit The Nativity of St. John the Baptist and also a bell tower was built. With the coming to power of Bolsheviks the temple was closed, and the bell tower was demolished. In 1992 the temple was returned to the believers. Now the temple is completely restored, and the bell tower is reconstructed.
