Gallery "Counter_ast"

We present the 1st exhibition of paintings by Tula tattoo artists. 

This unusual and interesting space is located in the most atmospheric building in the center of Tula, the SOYUZ business space.   

SOYUZ brings out the underground and supports an alternative scene of local creativity.

A bright, original modern cultural project at the intersection of alternative and classical art. 

The exhibition will present the works of 12 talented artists, including famous tattoo artists: Alisa Kravtsova, Fedor Lukashenko, Namaste Sanchez, Dmitry Kalugin, Drago Flamel, Joel Cabezas, Evgeny Suponin, Alyona Demchenko, Andrey Karasev, Nadezhda Beknifisova and others.

In contrast, the gallery presents works in various techniques — from academic painting to abstraction, surrealism and pop art. A special place is occupied by works in the inversion technique, which can only be seen with the help of modern gadgets. 

The main goal of the project is to break down stereotypes about tattoo art by showing the world the diversity of artists' creative potential. An unusual reading of the surrounding reality through the eyes of masters who reveal their own unique view of the world.

Kontr_ast offers its guests exciting activities: guided tours, lectures, discussions and master classes.

On weekends, the gallery hosts musical and poetic apartment parties.
