The Arsenyevsky Museum of Local Lore was established in 1992 on the initiative of Boris Baltser, a local history teacher. Boris Rudolfovich painstakingly collected exhibits for many years, obtained them on hikes and expeditions. Together with the students, he studied literature and scientific monographs, and worked in archives to make notable facts from the history of the district and the lives of famous countrymen public.
Gradually, an impressive fund was formed, which fairly fully represents the history of the district, focusing the attention of visitors on such major local history topics as subjects of peasant life, the district during the Great Patriotic War, famous people, our countrymen and others.
The museum has become the main business of his life, Boris Rudolfovich has been working towards this for 20 years. And in 1992, a museum of local lore was opened in the area.
Currently, the museum is located in 7 small halls. Here you can see the overcoat of the orderly Vsevolod Rudnev Tikhon Chibisov, the temporal ring, which is more than 800 years old. And this is only a small part of the exhibition. In 2022, the museum's major renovation, carried out as part of the national Culture project, was completed. The halls were filled with exhibits.
