The children's railway was opened in Novomoskovsk in 1955. It is one of the best children's railways in Russia.
Length: 1.94 km (circumferential, full operational length is 2.3 km). Stopping points: Beryozki, Parkovaya, and Istok Dona. The road is a closed ring around the park. The track width is 750 millimeters. The established speed is fifteen kilometers per hour on straight sections, ten kilometers per hour on curved sections. The movement is counterclockwise. The children's railway is equipped with the automatic track block allowing to control availability and serviceability of a track from the dispatcher's computer. Structurally, it is a part of the branch of Russian Railways JSC, Moscow Railway.
