Demidych and Peter the Great

The tour is dedicated to the curious history of relations between Peter I and Nikita Demidov.

The founder of the Tula Weapon Factory and the founder of the Russian metallurgy together created the "image" of modern Tula, the city of gunsmiths, craftsmen and metallurgists.

The beginning of this story lies in the Armory Sloboda, a historical space near the State Museum of Arms.
