After arriving in Tula, the journey starts from Lenin Square. Here you can park your vehicle and start exploring the sights that are located in the historical center of the city.
On the central square, guests of Tula can see fountains, a square with a monument to Tula gingerbread, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The next point of the route is the Tula Kremlin. This fortification with more than 500 years of history was built for the purpose of defense and has never been subjected to enemy raids. On the territory of the Kremlin there is the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Tula Kremlin, the Epiphany Cathedral and the exhibition complex.
There is a convenient exit from the Kremlin Garden to the Kazanskaya embankment. This is one of the most popular places among tourists visiting Tula. It is located along the left bank of the Upa River. The embankment was opened in 2018 after a large-scale reconstruction. It houses many unusual art objects.
Along with the restoration of the embankment in Tula, a Museum quarter was created, including federal, regional and private exhibitions. The country's first branch of the State Historical Museum (GIM) is located here.
The Azimut Hotel, which is located in the same building as the restaurant, offers comfortable accommodation to continue your stay in the region.
