After visiting two small ancient towns on the banks of the Oka River, Belev and Chekalin, with their strange streets and merchant houses, monasteries and temples, you will get acquainted with their rich history. Through interactive museum exhibitions, you will learn about the daily life of these settlements in bygone centuries, as well as about their heroic past

  • Why did they build a Large Zasechnaya line in the XVI century?
  • How did they serve on it and repel the raids of the Crimean Tatars in those turbulent years?
