Dear residents and guests of the city, we invite you to travel with us through the epochs – "War and peace in the history of the Tula region". The new excursion route combines some of the most interesting museums and tourist destinations in the region – the Tula Defense Museum and the real Count's Palace in Bogoroditsk.

They will visit the real palace complex, which belonged to Empress Catherine II, which after her death passed into the possession of Alexei Grigoryevich Bobrinsky (illegitimate son of the Empress). Now there is an exposition inside the palace, which introduces guests to the work of the organizers of the Starov and Bolotov estates, through exhibits it brings to the tourists the history of the outstanding Bobrinsky dynasty. The interior with objects from the turn of the XVIII-XIX centuries immerses visitors in the magnificent world of late manor classicism. An exhibition in the entrance tower dedicated to the history of the city from the end of the 17th century to the beginning of the 19th century will also open to the attention of visitors. The museum's guests will also hear a story about the severity of wartime that overtook the city and the palace during the Great Patriotic War, when after the German occupation, only the walls remained of the beautiful ensemble.
