The Yasnaya Polyana Museum Estate offers a selection of events that will take place at the end of April – in the first weeks of May and informs about changes in the work schedule.

April 28, 29, 30 and May 1, 4, 10, 11, 12, 2024 guided tours from 10:30 to 16:30.

On May 5, 6, and 9 , the reserve's territory and memorial buildings will be closed to the public, and excursions will not be conducted.

On May 2, 3 and 7 , the museum is open as usual from 09:00 to 17:00. Guided tours are held from 09:30 to 15:30 (the start time of the last tour).

On May 8 the Yasnaya Polyana Museum Estate is operating on a reduced schedule. Guided tours are available from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Please note that on days of increased excursion demand (weekends, holidays), the sale of tickets for excursions may be completed before the deadline due to the increased excursion flow.

Starting from April 28, visits to the memorial buildings are only possible as part of an excursion group.

Starting from April 28, the museum-estate will switch to summer mode of operation on weekends and holidays. Entrance to the reserve these days is possible from 09:00 to 17:00, you can stay on the territory until 18:00. To walk through the reserve, you need to buy an entrance ticket (100 rubles) at the terminals at the entrance to the museum. Payment can be made by bank card or in cash without change. During the walk, you can use audio tour "A walk through Yasnaya Polyana".

From April 28 during the estate's opening hours:

  • A memorial greenhouse will be opened for inspection. Admission is by tickets, which can be purchased at the entrance to the greenhouse. You can also visit the greenhouse with an excursion "One hundred first plants";
  • On weekends and holidays, the Forge will host workshops on folk art for children and adults: making floral souvenirs, traditional twist dolls, and ceramic painting. You can visit them from 10:30 to 17:30.

From April 27 in the lobby of the House of Culture, you can get acquainted with the tablet exhibition "Nekrasov. Three Rivers", which tells about the life and work of poet, publisher, journalist Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov. This exhibition will allow a wide audience to turn to the poet's legacy, feel the rhythm of his life, free themselves from stereotypes of perception of his personality and see an example of service to his Cause. You can visit the exhibition daily from 9:00 to 21:00.

On April 27, 2024 at 14:00 in the hall of the House of Culture, the results of the second season of the youth project "Tolstoy without a beard". The guests will enjoy choreographic performances and a marathon reading with the participation of students of the Higher School of Performing Arts and students of the Tula Regional College of Culture and Arts. Admission is free.

On May 4 and 5, the House of Culture will host screenings of the play "Ivan Ilyich and Alyosha Gorshok" based on the works of the same name by Leo Tolstoy. This is the thesis of students of the Russian Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS) studying acting and drama directing at the acting faculty.

In the Museum quarter of Tula in the cultural and exhibition complex "L. N. T." on the ground floor there is an interactive exhibition "My address is always Tula", on the second floor there is an exhibition "Soldiers of Mercy", prepared by the staff of the museum-reserve "Battle of Stalingrad" and dedicated to the activities of Soviet military and civilian medicine during the Battle of Stalingrad.

As part of the exhibition "My address is always Tula", a mini-exhibition "Messages of the Good News: Easter postcards and souvenirs from the funds of the museum-estate" will be open from May 5Yasnaya Polyana"". This exhibition will feature open letters with Easter greetings addressed to Sofia Andreevna Tolstoy, as well as items from the museum collection related to the tradition of celebrating Easter.

Work schedule:

  • from April 29 to May 3 and on May 8-10 – from 11:00 to 19:00;
  • 4-5 and 11-12 May – from 10:00 to 18:00;
  • May 6 and 7, 2024 are days off.
