During the holidays, the Yasnaya Polyana Museum Estate operates according to the following schedule:
On November 4, 5 and 6, 2023 guided tours along the route "Reserve – Tolstoy House – Kuzminsky Wing" are held from 9:30 to 14:40. From 14:50 to 15:30 guided tours along the route "Reserve – Tolstoy House" (without visiting the Kuzminsky Wing).
The entrance to the reserve is possible from 9:00 to 16:00, you can stay on the territory until 17:00. To walk through the reserve, you need to buy an entrance ticket (100 rubles) at the terminals at the entrance to the museum. Payment can be made by bank card or in cash without change.
On November 7, 2023, the museum's territory will be closed to the public.
Please note that on days of increased excursion demand (weekends, holidays), the sale of tickets for excursions may be completed before the deadline due to the increased excursion flow. Independent visits to memorial buildings are not possible these days.
The opening hours of the museum's branches during the holidays will also change:
From November 8 to November 20, 2023 due to preparations for the winter season, the Leo Tolstoy House will be closed to visitors. These days, guided tours will be conducted along the route "Reserve – Kuzminsky Wing".
Preparation for the winter and summer seasons is an integral part of the museum's work. Twice a year, we close the memorial buildings to visitors in order to carry out preventive maintenance in them. This is done to ensure the preservation of the memorial environment and the convenience of visiting by tour groups. Our task is to preserve the estate in the form in which it was under Leo Tolstoy.
