Grigory Lavrukhin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region, noted that national tourist routes are being implemented within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry". Each of the routes meets the needs of modern travelers.
"On behalf of Governor Alexey Gennadyevich Dyumin, special attention is being paid to the development of tourism in the Tula region. The status of a national tourist route will allow our guests to be confident in the quality of the infrastructure and cultural and educational program of the trip," said Grigory Lavrukhin.
As part of the "Imperial Route", guests of the region are invited to visit the Tula Museum of Fine Arts, the Holy Dormition Cathedral, the Tula State Museum of Weapons and the Museum Quarter on Metallistov Street, the Polenovo Museum Estate and other attractions of the Tula region, which are inextricably linked with the 300-year history of the Imperial House of Romanov.
The Minister of Culture of the Tula Region, Tatiana Rybkina, noted that, thanks to the support of the Governor of Tula, she has been successfully coordinating the Imperial Route project for two years. During this time, several museum and exhibition sites with expositions dedicated to the events and personalities of imperial Russia have been opened in the region, many interregional cultural and scientific educational events have been held, and thematic tourism products have been developed.
Recall that on June 29, Governor Alexey Dyumin and Anna Gromova, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Elizabethan-Sergiev Educational Society Foundation, signed an agreement on the entry of the Tula Region into the Imperial Route national tourism project.
