SPIEF 2022: Tourism infrastructure of the Tula region will be further developed

June 17th at XXV At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) Grigory Lavrukhin, CEO of the Tula Region Regional Development and Support Corporation, signed five investment agreements as part of the presentation "Tourism 3.5 in the Tula Region."

Agreements have been concluded:

  • withTriA Development LLC will create a network of ZA Hotel road hotels in the region to develop roadside services along the M2 and M4 federal highways, as well as in tourist-attractive locations. The first hotel will appear on the territory of the Uzlovaya Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The project will bring up to 1 billion rubles in investments and create up to 30 jobs.
  • KUSA Halyk LLPinvolves the reconstruction of a hotel complex with 89 beds with the involvement of a chain hotel operator in the immediate vicinity of Yasnaya Polyana. It is planned to invest up to 664 million rubles and create up to 120 jobs.
  • from Tula Distillery 1911 LLCprovides for the development of industrial tourism at the site of TVZ 1911 LLC in the Kimovsky district, the creation of a tasting room, restaurant, museum, cottage-type hotel, as well as the improvement of the embankment. Up to 300 million rubles will be invested and 30 jobs will be created.
  • withAnomaly LLC will create a glamping country resort in the Kimovsky district. The investor intends to invest up to 73 million rubles in the project and create up to 24 jobs.
  • withKomandor LLC assumes further development of the Plazma park-hotel in the city of Donskoy. The investment project provides for an investment of up to 250 million rubles and the creation of up to 15 jobs.

The documents were signed in the presence of Zarina Doguzova, Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism, and Alexey Dyumin, Governor of the Tula Region.

"Over the past three years, we have consistently received more than 1 million tourists per year. The tourism infrastructure is being developed through private investment. And given the unprecedented demand for domestic tourism, which we see in the current situation, federal support measures are becoming an incentive for its most qualitative and rapid strengthening. The Tula Region enjoys all available federal support measures. Our entrepreneurs will receive 100 million for the creation of modular hotels and about 300 million for the development of tourist infrastructure," said Alexey Dyumin.

The head of the region thanked the Government of the Russian Federation and Zarina Doguzova for timely support measures that make it possible to create conditions for the development of domestic tourism in a short time.
