07 June 2022
Russian Post has released new postcards from the collection series.

The sights of the Tula region were featured on postcards from the limited edition of the Russian Post. Postcards with photos of iconic places in the Tula region can already be purchased at post offices.

The Post Office, together with Rostourism and the Russian Geographical Society (RGS), is expanding a series of postcards about Russian regions. The new issue is dedicated to summer tourism destinations. The series includes postcards depicting iconic places in 20 regions — Krasnodar, Primorsky and Altai Territories, Rostov, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Tula, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad, Arkhangelsk, Samara, Chelyabinsk, Vladimir and Pskov regions, the Republics of Altai, Tatarstan, Kalmykia and Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkarian and Karachay-Cherkess Republics. By the end of 2022, the partners will release postcards with views of all regions of Russia.

The series was decorated with the best works from the archives of the annual photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society "The most beautiful country". The partners have prepared five variants of postcards with different sights for each region. For the Tula region– there is the Ishutinsky settlement, the surroundings of the villages of Krasnogorskoye and Konduki, as well as the churches of the Holy Trinity in Behovo and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in Epiphany.

The circulation of each variant is 1,000 copies, the cost of one postcard is 44 rubles.

They can be purchased at the central post office of Tula at Lenin Ave., 33. In the coming days, the postcards will arrive at the post offices of the region, which are located near the tourist sites depicted on the postcards. For example, you can buy a postcard with a picture of the blue lakes of Konduki at the post office of the village of Konduki,

"We are pleased to continue our joint project with the Russian Post and the Russian Geographical Society to launch tourist postcards. The summer series is also notable for the fact that it includes one of the iconic landmarks of our country – the Chuisky Tract highway, which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary since being awarded the status of a road of national importance. This is one of the most beautiful roads in the world, which is very popular with tourists. The highway starts in Novosibirsk, passes through the Altai Territory, the Altai Republic and ends at the border with Mongolia. The stormy waters of the Katun River, rocky gorges and almost untouched green valleys. The road passes through several natural areas, from the forest steppe to the rocky desert. Now everyone can send postcards depicting the famous highway to their loved ones, inspiring them to travel around their country," said Evgenia Chukhnova, Deputy head of the Federal Tourism Agency.
