Recall that in 2019, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an agreement was signed with the Event Tourism Center to create an all-season festival site with a developed infrastructure. In 2022, grant support under the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry" allowed the launch of comfortable camping and the first modular homes, which allows event guests to stay in the Tula region.
"Events such as Wild Mint and the Tolstoy Festival have become brands of Tula event tourism. Undoubtedly, the appearance of new formats at popular venues will attract the attention of guests and residents of the region," said Larisa Solomatina, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Tula Region.
The organizers have prepared a program that combines the ancestral traditions of the holiday and the spirit of everyone's favorite festival: guests will be able to take part in traditional Carnival fun, ride Old Russian carousels and show prowess at funny competitions for children and adults, attend a fair and creative workshops and taste delicious pancakes with various fillings and fragrant tea from the samovar..
The evening program will be decorated with 2 concerts at once – the ethno-electronic set IKARUSHKA on an open stage and the concert of the band "KUKUBARITON" in the cozy space of the cafe "Our Bird".
This year, for the first time on the festival field, a unique art object will be erected - a sculpture of Maslenitsa. At the end of the holiday, he will be given over to the Maslenitsa fire.
It starts at 11:00. Admission is free.
The organizers hope that the Wild Mint Camp Carnival will become one of the favorite annual events of tourists and residents of Tula.
