First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia"Sergey Kiriyenko presented commemorative statuettes to the heads of the regions for their contribution to the creation of a unique exhibition following the results of the first month of the Exhibition.
Awards were awarded toTula Region, Saint Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Kamchatka Territory, Altai Republic, Stavropol Territory, Sevastopol, Belgorod Region, Donetsk People's Republic, Khabarovsk Territory, etc.
At the award ceremony, Sergey Kiriyenko noted that the heads of the regions and their teams had done a lot of painstaking work to prepare the expositions — in just a few months they had managed to create an exhibition on a larger scale than the world expo.
"We see smiles on the faces of children, their eyes are shining, they are proud of their country together with adults, and they dream of a future in Russia," Sergei Kiriyenko noted.It is also important that our Exhibition is alive. It is constantly updated and changing. We cannot relax, there are still four months of the Exhibition ahead — we must continue to surprise our guests."
On behalf of Alexey Dyumin, Governor of the Tula Region, his first deputy, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region, received the commemorative statuette.
"The management of the Rossiya Exhibition noted the Tula stand as one of the most visited and interactive," said Vyacheslav Fedorishchev."This is a great achievement of our governor Alexey Gennadyevich Dyumin. For us, this is an incentive to move forward so that the people of Russia can see even more beautiful places in the Tula region."
During the first month of operation, the exhibition was visited by 2 million 125 thousand people.97% of the guests surveyed said that after visiting it they felt a sense of pride for their country and would advise their friends to visit the Exhibition. And 81% are confident that they will return to VDNKh several more times.
The International Exhibition and Forum "Russia" is the most important achievements of the country, gathered on one platform. During the entire opening hours of the Exhibition, guests will enjoy cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program.The expositions of 89 regions of Russia, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to visitors. The exhibition takes place on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to April 12.
