Elena Martynova, Director of the Tula Region Tourism Development Agency Regional Foundation, showed in her presentation a modern interpretation of the region's tourism positioning and its promotion; rethinking traditional Tula brands and how Tula works with stereotypes about the city, organically finding new meanings in them.
In addition, within the framework of the conference, the Tula Region Tourism Development Agency and the Higher School of Economics signed an agreement on cooperation, the development of event tourism and the promotion of major events taking place in the region.
"Event tourism and territory marketing are the most important components of the region's image and attractiveness. Governor Alexey Dyumin pays special attention to the effective promotion of the region, the creation of new tourist destinations with major events and cultural programs. A large number of tourists: families, young people, and people of "silver age" come especially to the festivals that take place in the region," said Elena Martynova, Director of the Tula Region Tourism Development Agency Regional Foundation.
