ROSTELECOM's Tula mobile online door has embarked on a new journey

On December 12, as part of a joint project of the Tula Region Committee for Tourism Development and Rostelecom, the mobile interactive door began its New Year's Eve journey.

In the year of the 500th anniversary of the Tula Kremlin, the beginning of the online door route passes through the settlements of the Bolshaya Zasechnaya Line in the Tula region and will introduce the guests of the region to the small towns of the Tula region.

Odoev became the first city where the provider's specialists installed a digital panel. A few days later, the mobile door will move to Belev, and then to Chekalin.
Larisa Solomatina, Chairman of the Tula Region Committee for Tourism Development:
"In August of this year, we presented our mobile door in Moscow's Patriot Park. This was the first field event within the framework of the Open Tula project, which we are implementing jointly with Rostelecom. Today, we have expanded the geography of the presence of this interactive device so that residents of various territories can use video communication to open the online door to Tula and other Russian cities. The mobile door trip will allow presenting the sights of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and will contribute to the development of interregional cooperation in the field of tourism."

The mobile interactive door is a digital project of Rostelecom and the government of the Tula Region aimed at developing the tourism potential of the region.
The online door is designed in the form of the Tula Kremlin tower and is equipped with a microphone and a video camera.

The device provides real-time video communication with similar digital panels installed on Tula's Kazanskaya Embankment, Moscow's Tulskaya Metro Station and the Tula State Museum of Weapons. By selecting the desired locations on the touchpad, users can display an image on the screen and communicate with each other while in different places. In addition, when a visitor's smile is fixed on the screen, the mobile interactive door displays a colorful postcard about the Tula region. All interactive panels feature videos about Tula attractions and useful information from the official tourist portal of the region.
