Tula region has won the All-Russian travel award Russian Traveler Awards 2022

The award is dedicated to the main tourist opportunities of the country.

On December 5, the winners were awarded with the participation of Soslan Abisalov, Director of the Department for the Implementation of Projects in the field of Tourism at the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Christopher Konstantinidi, Chairman of the Expert Council of the State Duma Committee on Tourism, Irina Kovalevich, publisher of Russian Traveler, and Ivan Vasin, editor-in-chief.

The winners of the Russian Traveler Awards 2022 were determined by open online voting in several travel categories. Russians chose the main tourist opportunities of the country – hotels, cruises, national dishes and eco-routes. A total of thirteen nominations were submitted. Tula region was nominated in the nomination "Festival/Holiday" presented the large-scale Wild Mint project and took the honorable second place in it, losing to the Astrakhan region.
