Tulyachka reached the final of the Masters of Hospitality competition

Anna Svistunova presented her project, the Tradition bakery.

The semi-final of one of the four directions of the Masters of Hospitality competition was held in Cheboksary. 133 contestants from 58 regions of Russia gathered in the capital of the Republic of Chuvashia to present their bright tourism startup ideas in the following nominations: "Conservation tourism", "Tourism Infrastructure", "IT solutions in tourism", "Creation of a tourist route", "Territory marketing: events, points of attraction".

The experts selected the strongest participants with interesting ideas for the development of domestic tourism in the country. They will compete in the grand final of the competition. In addition to the competition program, the participants attended a rich educational, cultural and entertainment program.

Anastasia Svistunova, from Tula, made it to the final of the competition. The CEO, brand chef of the artisanal bakery "Tradition", is engaged in historical cooking. As part of his project, he restores and adapts the pre-revolutionary recipes of Tula gingerbread, promotes stuffed rolls.

The craft bakery "Tradition" project, which Tulyachka defended at the competition, is a participatory space where guests can watch, learn, make with their own hands, share emotions, and communicate in a community of like—minded people both online and offline.

The bakery bakes bread with long fermentation, sourdough, gingerbread and rolls according to pre-revolutionary recipes, and tea is served from the Tula samovar.

There are also themed, antique exhibits here: a rare samovar, which is not even in the Tula Museum of Samovars, a tin box from the craft house of Buckwheat made from those gingerbread cookies, the recipe of which is the only one that survived the revolution, and others.

- Bakery "Tradition" is a project about craft, about love of business, about real bread and our Russian roots. We are ready to expand and create a creative industries project at the intersection of production, museum business and entertainment and educational areas. We want to make a functioning Russian oven and show our guests how our ancestors worked with it and what delicious things they made, tell them about the history of Tula artisan families and the products they produced. To give tourists a chance to experience, make and taste history with their own hands," said Anastasia Svistunova, finalist of the Masters of Hospitality competition.

Prior to the bakery's opening, Anastasia hosted two seasons of the culinary program "Our Ruddy Loaf" on the Usadba channel, and is an offline and online baking coach at the hleb project. club from the specialized publishing house Profession (Saint Petersburg) and the world leader in yeast production Lesaffre.

Participated in an international charity project together with master bakers and pastry chefs from America, Belgium, China, and Israel to raise funds for the construction of bakeries in refugee camps in Uganda.

Experts will evaluate the project of a resident of the Tula Region at the grand final of the Masters of Hospitality competition. Anastasia can receive financial, organizational, methodological, and media support for her project.
