Tula residents were presented with "Unreal Tula"
On December 23, the performative opening day of the Unreal Tula exhibition took place in the Octava creative industrial cluster .

Its guests and authors were welcomed by Larisa Solomatina, Chairman of the Tula Region Committee for Tourism Development.

"On behalf of Governor Alexey Gennadyevich Dyumin, we are doing a lot of work to increase the tourist attractiveness of the region. New formats for the popularization of small towns are of interest both to the guests of the region and to the residents of Tula themselves. This is a look at the familiar from an unexpected perspective, as seen by urban designers. Contemporary art will help draw attention to those locations in the region where many have not yet been able to visit, and diversify tourist offers," Larisa Solomatina emphasized.

The exhibition offers to embark on a fascinating metaphorical journey through five cities of the Tula region and explore their cultural identity. Tula will introduce you to local artists. Venev will tell the story of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and philanthropist Nadezhda Filaretovna von Meck. Odoev will present a Filimonov toy. Krapivna will take part in a costumed procession "Walking for ...", and Belev will tell how the "Old-world landowners" lived.

The exhibition will run from December 24 to February 23. The project was created by the HSE School of Design (profile "Event Design. Theatre. Performance") in partnership with the Tula Region Tourism Development Agency.
