On March 24 in the creative industrial cluster "Octava" within the framework of the national projects "Tourism and the hospitality industry" and "Small and medium-sized enterprises"A hospitality festival for hoteliers, restaurateurs, tour operators and travel agents was held.
Larisa Solomatina, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Tula Region, told the event participants about plans for the 2023 summer tourist season, while paying special attention to business support measures.
In the new season, residents of Tula and guests of the city will be invited to the "Revived City" multi-genre festival, the outdoor venues of which will combine 9 genres from classical to modern art, from dance and cinema to street art and promenade performances.
"Governor Alexey Gennadievich Dyumin identified as a priority task of the industry – ensuring the return of tourists. Expanding the regional range of travel offers and ensuring the quality of service contribute to achieving this goal," said Larisa Solomatina.
The experts presented a course on online sales management to hoteliers. The restaurateurs attended a lecture on trends and challenges in the hospitality industry. Travel industry specialists were presented with tools to increase sales. Souvenir manufacturers discussed the current trends of the direction.
At the festival, the guests were introduced to the products of the participants of the "Made in the Tula Region" program: Tula sweets, dairy and meat gastronomy.
