Projects in the field of regional tourism can now receive land without a bidding procedure. And the new Land for Tourism service will help investors evaluate the transport accessibility of the site and the availability of infrastructure when choosing a location.
The Tula region has become a pilot region of the project on land involvement in tourism turnover – "Land for Tourism". This is a service that will allow you to display land plots suitable for hosting tourist sites on a public cadastral map. Valery Sherin, Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region, signed an agreement with Rosreestr to launch the project on April 5.
First, the sites suitable for involvement in the tourist turnover will be identified. Then, government and municipal experts will analyze them from the point of view of infrastructural security. All information received will subsequently be publicly available.
"Governor Alexey Dyumin in his Message instructed to create a new quality of the hospitality industry and attract private investment in the development of tourism infrastructure. For this purpose, a system of measures is being implemented in the region for each stage of the investment project implementation. When choosing a land plot, the Land for Tourism service will help to assess transport accessibility, engineering infrastructure, and as a result, more clearly determine the payback period of the project and the prospects for its development.", – said Larisa Solomatina, Head of the Tula Region Committee for Tourism Development.
After choosing a location, the investor can use a special procedure for the provision of municipal land for rent without bidding. At the same time, there are mandatory requirements: an investment project must include an investment of at least 50 million rubles and the creation of new jobs.
Federal support measures are available to entrepreneurs at the stage of launching and implementing a tourism project:
