An investment project for the construction of roadside hotels has been launched in the Tula region

On August 9 in the Uzlovaya special economic zone (SEZ), the region's first hotel chainZA Hotel opened.

The opening ceremony was attended by Grigory Lavrukhin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region. He noted that tourism is one of the drivers of the development of territories in the region. It is visited by more than one and a half million tourists a year, and this figure is steadily growing, which is why the need for rooms is growing.

"The opening of hotels will create comfortable conditions for the accommodation of employees and guests of enterprises operating in the SEZ. Providing conditions for accommodating tourists in places with high transit traffic will contribute to the development of roadside services in the region," Grigory Lavrukhin emphasized.

220 million rubles were invested in the first hotel "ZA hotel" with 149 beds. 20 new jobs have been created.

The agreement with investor TriA Development LLC on the establishment of ZA Hotel hotels was signed at the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF)in 2022, in the presence of Governor Alexey Dyumin.

As part of the investment project, it is planned to build five road hotels along the federal highways M-2 and M-4, as well as in places attractive to tourists. The investor's investments will amount to 1 billion rubles.
