On December 28, on behalf of Governor Alexey Dyumin, his First Deputy Prime Minister Vyacheslav Fedorishchev visited the AZIMUT hotel complex, which opened in Shchekinsky district.
The agreement on the implementation of this project between the Government of the Tula Region and Kusa Halyk LLP was signed this year at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The volume of investments amounted to 664 million rubles. The number of rooms in the first stage includes 89 rooms, including five for people with limited mobility.
The complex has three hotel buildings, the Graf restaurant, a campfire clearing, a walking area, a playground, a workout area, and a rope park. In 2023, it is planned to open the second stage – a VIP building and a SPA center.
"For the fourth year in a row, the Tula Region has been hosting more than a million tourists. The need for a number of rooms is growing. It is safe to say that tourism has become one of the drivers of the development of the territories. Yasnaya Polyana is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. The construction of a hotel here was planned several years ago. Thanks to our partners, a modern AZIMUT Hotels hotel complex has been opened in Yasnaya Polyana today. This is the second facility of the company in the Tula region – the first hotel opened in the historical center of Tula. I am sure that the appearance of such a high-level hotel will strengthen the Yasnaya Polyana and Kozlova Zaseka cultural and tourist cluster," commented Governor Alexey Dyumin.
"We are pleased to provide the guests of the region with the opportunity to comfortably stay in a new modern hotel, whether it is a family vacation or a business trip. AZIMUT Park Hotel Tula 4* is a new gem in the chain's hotel collection. It is attractive to tourists due not only to its proximity to the Yasnaya Polyana Estate museum, but also to a wide range of services that allow you to get the most out of your trip," said Maxim Brodovsky.
