In 1816, Vasily Levshin, an educated Tula landowner, cook and graphomaniac, published The Russian Cookbook, one of the first Russian cookbooks. It was Levshin who first described the recipes and technology of cooking dishes familiar to the noble and merchant tables of the 19th century.
After more than 200 years, we still admire the works of Vasily Levshin and suggest that we recall, taste and evaluate the recreated dishes performed by the brand chef of the SheLESt restaurant, Anton Krupenin, winner of the Chef of the Year award in the nomination Best Chef of the Central Federal District.
