History of the ski resort

The Malakhovo ski resort in Tula opened on January 29, 2011. Before that, it used to be a housing and sports complex bearing the same name. The village of Malakhovo has been known since 1587. It was one of the settlements at the Great Zasechnaya cherta and belonged to the landowner family of Khrushchev. The famous Slavophile Aleksey Khomyakov lived near the village in early 19th century. Today, guests of the Malakhovo ski resort in Tula can enjoy the historic potential of these places after some slope activities. Our advice is visiting the Khomyakov Estate Museum at Oktyabrsky village, house 1.
