The first wooden church in the name of the Life-Giving Trinity was built in the first half of the XII century (scribe books of 1644), the temple fell into disrepair and was dismantled and instead of it a new wooden temple was built, which existed until 1881.
In 1881, At this place a stone church was built in the name of the Life-Giving Trinity with a side-chapel in honor of the Kazan Mother of God.
During the Soviet era, the temple was closed and used as: a bakery, a warehouse of food products and a metalwork shop. In 1993 the church services were resumed.
