The Church Of Paraskeva

The church of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa dates back to the 19th century. During the persecution of the church in the early XX century, the temple was a club, then a warehouse. The divine service was restarted only in the 90s of the XX century (August 12, 1990). This was promoted by Father Tryphon mundanely known as N.A. Bortunov. In addition to the restoration of the main temple of Praskieva Pyatnitsa, one more church, the chopped in name of St. Seraphim Sorovsky was recently built. Inside is a font for the paedobaptism and a baptismal, made in the form of a rood, for adults. It is big enough to be able to christen an adult person, not just sprinkling it with holy water, but with a full immersion, as it should be according to church canons. The church house and the waterborne chapel were also built.
