From the stories of the older generation, one might get the impression that Tula is a city where everyone lives in gingerbread houses, steam escapes from the pipes of polished samovars, and accordion players play in the courtyards. To understand the metamorphoses that have taken place in Tula over the past few years, you just need to come to it, walk along the renovated streets, and, having parted from the cozy zone of stereotypes, look at the "armory capital" from the other side: modern museums, local cuisine with its own character, cultural and creative-industrial clusters, completely gone the beautiful embankment and the incredible atmosphere of Belousovsky Park. Believe me, the hero city has something to surprise, although, of course, it won't do without gingerbread and samovars. It is important that Tula different.

We offer a car trip for a cheerful company that still knows how to enjoy simple things, be surprised by something new and is still looking for what is sung in Angelica Varum's song "Gorodok".

10:00
Venev is an ancient town 54 km away. from Tula, known as the birthplace of the delicious bun "Venevka", there is even a monument in honor of her and the patrimony of Lieutenant Rzhevsky (an unproven fact, but also an unimaginable one). The city is small in size, but has a broad soul: it has its own Red Square (that's what it's called), the oldest museum in the Tula region, whose building is already a landmark, a low-rise building with the atmosphere of those provincial Russian cities where you want to walk, look into courtyards, chat with locals and launch sunny bunnies with a pocket a mirror.
10:30
The main attraction of Venev is The Nikolaevskaya bell tower is 75 meters high. According to some assumptions, its architect is the famous Vasily Bazhenov. From the top of the bell tower there is a view of the whole of Venev and its surroundings, but you will not be able to get there on your own – you need to sign up for an excursion. In addition to the bell tower in Venyovo, there are ensembles of the Pokrovskaya, Bogoyavlenskaya and Kazan churches, as well as merchant houses along Lva Tolstogo Street. However, come and see for yourself.

Bogoroditsk

Bogoroditsk is an ancient Russian city founded to protect the southern borders of the medieval Moscow state from enemies during the development of the Zasechnaya Line. First, a guard post, and since 1663, a wooden fortress, which was given its current name. Settlements of farmers, artisans, and archers grew up around the fortress. The city lost its defensive importance with the extension of the borders to the south. However, he became famous already in the 18th century, thanks to Count Alexei Grigoryevich Bobrinsky and the great scientist Andrei Timofeevich Bolotov.

12:30

Bogoroditsky Palace

Bogoroditsky Palace Museum and Park is a large palace complex in the territories that belonged to Empress Catherine II, which she transferred to her illegitimate son Alexei Grigoryevich Bobrinsky in 1765. Without such family ties, it is unlikely that such a palace would have appeared in a province far from St. Petersburg. The main building of the complex was built by architect Ivan Egorovich Starov in the early classicism style typical of the late 18th century. At various times, the building housed barracks, a folk theater, and the Krasny Shakhter sanatorium. During the Great Patriotic War, the palace was destroyed by the German invaders and stood in desolation for a long time. However, now, after the restoration, the palace and its territory have acquired their original appearance. The Palace Museum is a must-visit for both locals and tourists. But not because it's necessary, but because it's really good there. The most important, if not the main part of the palace, is the park surrounding it, which appeared thanks to the genius of the outstanding scientist, agronomist and encyclopedist Andrei Timofeevich Bolotov. In terms of the scale of his influence on science, Bolotov is comparable to M.V. Lomonosov, it's just that the latter was more fortunate with PR. To learn more about the life and work of A.T. Bolotov, visit his museum in Dvoryaninovo.

The Nutria Farm
Pine trees on the almost seashore, fresh and transparent air, silence and unusual animals – it's all about the nutria farm. People usually come here to go fishing, have a quiet time with their family, listen to what the forest whispers and at the same time get acquainted with the nutrients. They're tame here. At the same time, nutria are bred here not for commercial purposes, but simply for their natural habitat. In the forest you can find swings on trees, a beautiful volleyball court. In general, everything is for people and for the sake of people. The entrance fee is symbolic and there is hope that these places near Ivlyovo will remain out of sight of fans of kebabs and portable speakers for a long time, as well as remain calm and bright.

The only caveat when visiting the farm is that pets are not allowed to enter the park, for the safety of both sides of the animal world.

Conductors

Conductors are our universal onelove. We are sure that "Mariana eye pits, Martian chronicles of us" is also about Conductors. A space that arose in spite of. Former open-pit coal mines, known only to locals, have been hiding from tourists for a long time, but all the secrets are becoming clear. In winter, you need to listen to the snow falling, drink hot tea from a thermos and ride on the icy surface of the canal. In summer, you can go on picnics, ride a bike, explore the starry sky, master sapp, take photo sessions that have flown away and be happy that you don't have to travel far and long to get all these beauties.
