The LavkaLavka Farmers HUB is a fundamentally new space with a farmers' market, a recreation area, a Locavore café, and a farm food processing workshop. The HUB is located on the border of Tula and Moscow regions and has laid claim to becoming a cultural and gastronomic gateway to Tula Region.
The full name of the project implemented by the LavkaLavka farmers' union is the Tula Agricultural Center LavkaLavka named after Andrei Bolotov. Visitors to the Bolotov Farmers Market can taste and buy confectionery and dairy products directly from producers and farms of the region, including cottage cheese, sour cream, butter, cheeses, meat products and delicacies, vegetables, and fruit. All products are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides and tested by a government veterinarian.
The Locavore café uses seasonal organic produce from local farmers. Here, dishes are served according to traditional recipes in the author’s interpretation. It is here that guests of Tula Region can try the famous Ankovsky pie based on the recipe by Sophia Tolstaya. Any dish you like can be cooked here together with the Chef. All you need is to buy the corresponding products at the farmers market.
