V.D. Polenov Museum-Reserve (Strakhovo, Zaoksky District, Tula Region) - the most beautiful estate of the famous artist Vasily Dmitrievich Polenov - is located in a picturesque place on the banks of the Oka River in Tula Region.
Almost all the buildings in Polenovo were built according to the designs of the artist himself, even the Trinity Church, which is located in Byokhovo.
Polenovo has survived to this day almost in its original shape, only some minor buildings have been lost.
