The exhibition "Faberge and the Court jewelers" presents gifts dedicated to memorable dates and regimental holidays of the Russian army, as well as diplomatic gifts. During the program "As a souvenir from the bottom of my heart", visitors will be able to create a souvenir styled after the masterpieces of renowned jewelers. The interactive program will feature traditional dishes of Russian festive and ceremonial cuisine, known since the Middle Ages, and preserved in their archaic form both by their recipe and by their names. The exhibition presents the history of human exploration of the forest banks of the Upa River, where the city of Tula once appeared, and answers the main question: why did this happen?
In The Scientific Center "Archeology and Restoration" at Metallistov 1 will host a master class "The Secret of ancient potters". At the master class, participants will get acquainted with the techniques of creating and decorating ancient ceramic vessels. The master potter will tell you and show you what unusual materials our ancestors used when applying ornaments to the surface. Some techniques can be tested in working with clay.
