The Dubna settlement was founded to a great extent due to the Mosolovs' enterprise the had been built here. Cast products created in this settlement were famous all over the world.
Pyotr Mikhailovich Mosolov built a manor in Dubna only in 1803 and decorated it with cast-iron products produced by a local factory. The quality of the castings was phenomenal.
Nowadays, the estate has become the Mosolov Museum. Interactive, modern, and accessible to any tourist. Factory workers and industrialists come to life on the digital screens of the Museum's exposition. Legends fill the halls and the Mosolov Estate continues to live its renewed life! Photos of up to 2020 showed the deplorable state the house was in. Here lived the family who settled in the years of the Soviet government. The estate was undermaintained, it was slowly falling into disrepair. This process was accelerated by the fact that the house was made of wood. However, now it is a place for walking and taking amazing photo sessions. Newlyweds often come here to take a commemorative picture!
