Museum "Nobles Mosolovs Industrial Manor"

The five-hundredth anniversary of the Tula Kremlin and the Big Zasechnaya Cherta roared across the country in 2020. A huge number of exciting tourist sites in Tula and Tula Region were opened as a part of this holiday.

Mosolov Family Estate in Dubna is one of such places!

It is well-known in Tula and Tula Region that the Mosolov family name may easily stand in a row with the Demidov dynasty! Moreover, the Demidovs often noted serious competition on the part of the Mosolovs.

Many cast-iron foundries throughout Russia were created by members of this talented family of industrialists who are natives of Tula.

The Dubna settlement was founded to a great extent due to the Mosolovs' enterprise the had been built here. Cast products created in this settlement were famous all over the world.

Pyotr Mikhailovich Mosolov built a manor in Dubna only in 1803 and decorated it with cast-iron products produced by a local factory. The quality of the castings was phenomenal.

Nowadays, the estate has become the Mosolov Museum. Interactive, modern, and accessible to any tourist. Factory workers and industrialists come to life on the digital screens of the Museum's exposition. Legends fill the halls and the Mosolov Estate continues to live its renewed life! Photos of up to 2020 showed the deplorable state the house was in. Here lived the family who settled in the years of the Soviet government. The estate was undermaintained, it was slowly falling into disrepair. This process was accelerated by the fact that the house was made of wood. However, now it is a place for walking and taking amazing photo sessions. Newlyweds often come here to take a commemorative picture!

Address: 1 50th Anniversary of VLKSM Street.

I really liked the Mosolov estate. It's beautiful and peaceful here. The architecture is ancient and interesting. Walking in the garden and park is very pleasant. You can learn a lot about the history of the Mosolov family. The place is quiet and cozy, great for relaxing and taking photos. There is a restaurant with European cuisine on the second floor, and the menu includes pizza and khachapuri, which was a pleasant surprise, since we often eat such dishes in good restaurants in the city. There is a hotel with six rooms on the third floor. In general, I highly recommend visiting this beautiful place!

The place is beautiful. But everything is ruined by a landfill located 1.5 kilometers away and 30 hectares!!! The places there are windy. So, with strong gusts of wind, all the garbage from this landfill is scattered over nearby fields. The brilliant idea of the head of the Dubensky district is to open a landfill and a museum 1.5 km from each other!!! And what scents when you drive by!!! And there are also Miratorg fields. So think about what kind of environmentally friendly products we pay for!!! The manor itself is beautiful. I was surprised by the acaricide treatments. But it was written in the park above, next to the Peter and Paul Cathedral.

it is a very beautiful place, you can rent a room in the manor, have breakfast with a view of the lake, go boating and catamarans.

Today we visited the Mosolov Museum.I was pleasantly surprised by the exposition itself, which is very informative and interesting.I would especially like to mention the guide, who spoke very vividly and fascinatingly about the history of the Mosolov family.. Unfortunately, I did not remember the name of the producer .Thank you very much.

A stunning museum that opens new undeservedly forgotten names for the history of Russia. I recommend everyone to visit.

It's a very interesting place. The address looks especially fun. Everything is very decent. Thanks to those who put their efforts and soul into making Dubna a cultural heritage corner.
It's nice when the beauty around and the beauty inside a person are in harmony with each other...
