Yevropeyskiy Guest House combines the best qualities of the three different categories of accommodation facilities:

  • guest house: Yevropeyskiy Guest House is situated in a district of single-family homes, has small premises suitable for taking a walk and features a homely atmosphere;
  • inn: there are rooms of different categories with an ensuite, parking, and a reception area;
  • hotel: high standards of service provided for guests, some of whom expressed their appreciation on the popular Russian TV show Revizorro, among other things.

Rooms

Why was the guest house given this name? Experienced tourists who have had the pleasure of staying at smaller inns in small European towns can easily find similarities with Yevropeyskiy Guest House. It’s all about the reasonable price of accommodation and neat and clean rooms whose photos you can see on the official website.

Besides, guests can choose a suitable lodging option out of 9 possibilities:

  • Single Standard;
  • Twin Standard with twin beds;
  • Double Standard with a large double bed;
  • Twin and Double Comfort with a balcony;
  • Twin and Double two-room suite with a cozy living room;
  • Mini Twin and Double room on the usable roof floor;

All rooms have a TV set, Wi-Fi, and a shower with a set of towels and toiletries.

Board

The reason why Yevropeyskiy Guest House can be called an inn or even a hotel is the comfortable cafeteria located on the ground floor. You can not only have breakfast here, but also lunch or dinner. Dishes can be selected from a menu. To avoid waiting you may want to place an order in the beginning of the day and specify the time for it to be served.

Advantages

Yevropeyskiy Guest House has a number of advantages that set it apart from the general mix of accommodation facilities in Tula:

  • one of the most cost-effective accommodation options in the city;
  • a range of services that is more characteristic of a hotel than a guest house;
  • location within walking distance from the most significant sights in Tula;
  • at the same time the guest house is situated somewhat away from the noisy central streets, in a quiet and cozy district of single-family homes.

Book a room at the inn by phone: +7-4872-36-19-91. Yevropeyskiy Guest House is situated in the historical block of Tula at Voikova Street, 39. In the 20th century this district was populated by civil servants and seminary students. But most of all there were petty bourgeois manufacturing ice cream, sweets, and common ironmongery. On these streets, you can still see wooden houses from that period with extraordinarily beautiful window trims.

The first and most important thing is that they cheat here, and in a big way. This is the first time I've encountered such brazen deception in the hotel business, and I've only heard of it before. In 3 weeks (!) Prior to arrival, two Double standard rooms of 14 sq.m were booked and fully paid for (!) – one for 1 and the other for 2 guests. I specifically chose a quadrature larger than their cheaper version of 8 sq.m. As a result, we were accommodated in two rooms of 7.7 sq.m each! When they insisted on moving us to the rooms we had chosen and paid for, the receptionist said that everything was occupied. Then we demanded a refund of the difference in room rates, to which we were offered only a second-hand breakfast, which we did not need. It is a curious fact that a blanket and a duvet cover provide one for two guests. You will have to put on the blanket yourself – a new word in hotel service. Attention of those who are thinking about settling here! The bathroom is located directly in the room and occupies a third of it! Another half of the area is occupied by a bed. Along the wall there is a small cabinet, a bedside table, a refrigerator, a flimsy folding table (sometimes there is none). You'll only have to sidle along the furniture, there's no more room. The room is stuffy, the window does not open completely, resting against the bed. Anyone who has even the slightest signs of claustrophobia, run away from this place without turning around! In the bathroom, it is more or less normal to use only the toilet bowl. The sink rests against the wall of the shower stall. There is simply no approach to the sink, you have to contrive to wash your face. The cabin leaks, and even after a light shower, you step out into a large puddle below. So little things like the persistent smell of the canteen throughout the building, the squalid furnishings, the mattress spring digging into the side, the old rusty plumbing, and the random switching from cold to hot water while taking a shower (no matter what kind of water you set up for yourself) are already small things.
Well, yes, the stated parking, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer are available. Although how to use an air conditioner that blows directly on you is a question...
