A good name was left behind by the Yudins, merchants of the Second Guild. A trading house owned by brothers Nikolay, Vasily, Matvey, and Egor served much to their hometown, Krapivna. The brothers owned a grocery shop, a potato starch plant near the Plava River, and rented a water flouring mill in Krapivna. Nikolay Yudin, coming from a long line of citizens of honor, was a trustee of the Krapivna poorhouse.
