Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin is a Russian poet, playwright and prose writer. Even during his lifetime he was well-known as the greatest national Russian poet. Pushkin is regarded as the creator of the modern Russian literary language. On 4 May 1829 while traveling to the Caucasus Alexander Pushkin went through Belyov.
The monument to Alexander Pushkin in Belyov is located in a public garden in the street of Karl Marx. It is a sample of a small urban sculpture - a bronze bust of the famous Russian poet and playwright, that was installed on a marble pedestal.
