Mini Hotel Scherer was opened on September 8, 2021 in the Culture Exhibition Complex L.N.T. Each of its nine rooms bears the name of a character in War and Peace or Anna Karenina and has an individual design inspired by Leo Tolstoy's novels. Pictures from the novels as well as frames from the movies based on Tolstoy's works are an integral part of room interiors.
The hotel has six Standard rooms, two Superior rooms (Anna Karenina, Anna Scherer), and one Junior Suite (Ilya Rostov). They have everything you may need for a comfortable stay: an air conditioning unit, a safe, a minibar, a kettle and some cups, a TV set, Wi-Fi access, as well as a hairdryer, toiletries, and bathrobes in the bathroom. The room cost includes breakfast in the Literary Cafe Stiva on the ground floor. You can choose breakfast to-go if you wish so.
Guests here have the opportunity to stay within walking distance from the famous sights of Tula like Tula Kremlin, Kazanskaya Embankment, and Museum Quarter. At the same time, you can start exploring the Museum Quarter right from the Culture Exhibition Complex L.N.T. The exhibition “Tula is Always My Home Address” provides a look at Leo Tolstoy's times in Tula, while the exhibition “Comme Il Faut or Not Comme Il Faut” helps you get an understanding of Leo Tolstoy's clothing style and the importance of the do’s and don’ts of polite manners that he would proudly comply to. We also recommend visiting the Pierre Souvenir Shop, where you can buy souvenirs produced by the Yasnaya Polyana museum.
