The Monument to Proletary was erected at the intersection of Kirova and Lozhevaya streets in 2000. This five-meter stele symbolizes the blast furnace and the sword pulled halfway out of its sheath in memory of the inhabitants of Proletarian district of the city who were killed during the Great Patriotic war and forged weapons for Victory.
