Medovoye Podvorye Museum

The museum "Medovoye Podvor'ye [Honey Farmstead]" opened on July 3, 2016. The local popularizer of apitherapy Ivan Dumchev became its founder. In the museum you can learn about the arrangement of a beehive, to get acquainted with interesting facts from the history of beekeeping, to see the whole spectrum of "bee" products. You can watch films about how the life of the bee family goes, how the beekeepers work. On the basis of the museum, in August, the Russian folk festival "Medovoye Podvor'ye" is held which is accompanied by a theatrical performance with competitions and honey tasting. "Medovoye Podvor'ye" is not only the base for the club "Heal Yourself", but also an interactive exposition. Here you can see films about the life of a bee family, learn about the structure of a beehive, get acquainted with interesting facts from the history of beekeeping, see the whole richest range of bee products. You can surely get priceless advice from Dumchev. Ivan Ivanovich rebuilt his ancestry history bit by bit and made a proper "painting" which occupies an honourable place on the wall of the living room.
