Hero Square in Odoyev is dedicated to the memory of fellow countrymen heroes of the Soviet Union.
It is located in the heart of the city, opposite the Church of the Holy Trinity.
A bronze bust of the Twice Hero of the Soviet Union, the famous pilot I.A. Vorobyov has been established here.
In 2015, the square was reconstructed, the territory was landscaped, lighting was set, and memorial plates were installed. On May 9, during the celebrations dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the great Victory, the Eternal Flame was lit.
The square is a popular holiday destination for local residents.
