A weekend sightseeing tour in Tula is a great opportunity to spend time in the homeland of gingerbread, samovars and weapons. Tula Artisanal Sightseeing TourAt the beginning of the 16th century, Tula performed defensive functions as part of the Moscow state. You will understand why they say that you can assemble a gun from the names of Tula streets. You will see an ancient Weapons factory and you will be able to take photos of Lefty and the Horseshoe of Happiness and make a wish at Tulyachka, a monument to all skilled people.

You will learn about the origin of the famous Demidov family, the richest Russian entrepreneurs, you will see a necropolis and a monument to the founder of the family.

    The Helmet Museum of Weapons is the oldest museum of weapons in Russia with a rich collection, telling about the history of weapons from the Middle Ages to the Present. To go on a trip four centuries ago to live one day in a Russian hut. Immerse yourself in the life of a family that lived four hundred years ago, get acquainted with male and female responsibilities, learn about the traditions and customs of the Tula land.

During the interactive lesson, you will get acquainted with the daily life of a Russian family of the XVI–XVII centuries, learn about the traditional division of duties into "male" and "female", and hear a story about the customs of that time.   • Excursion to the Kozlova Zaseka Museum and railway station complex.A place where everything looks exactly as it looked at the moment when Leo Tolstoy's body was brought to this station. Even the clock stopped. In this place, you can not only take beautiful photos, but also learn about railway transport in Russia at the beginning of the 20th century.
  • Time for lunch (extra charge) and souvenir shopping.
  • Guided tour of the museum-estate of Leo Tolstoy "Yasnaya Polyana"
The tour is intended for those who come to Yasnaya Polyana for the first time or want to refresh their impressions from a long-time visit to the museum. The group examines the central part of the Yasnaya Polyana estate, the House of Leo Tolstoy, where most of the writer's life was spent, and an exhibition in the Kuzminsky Wing dedicated to the beginning of Tolstoy's creative activity.
The group will learn about sports games in the Tolstoy family, the first school in the Kuzminsky Wing, and the economic activities of Leo Tolstoy. Being on the border of several Yasnaya Polyana forests, tourists will learn about their history, reflection in Tolstoy's work, and hear about why one of them became the writer's burial place.

In the final, those who wish can visit the grave of Leo Tolstoy in the Yasnaya Polyana forest of the Old Order on their own.
