Mesto Vstrechi Monument

The “Meeting Place” monument was installed in September, 2017 near Tula Regional Children's Library. The sculpture symbolizes a meeting with something intelligent, kind and eternal - a book. A composition made of bronze, 1.3 meters high and 2 meters long depicts a bench where a boy and a girl read a book.

The author of the sculpture is a famous Russian sculptor, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the USSR Zurab Tsereteli. Representatives of the Russian Academy of Arts worked on the embodiment of sculptor’s idea.

There used to be dates at this place, but now there's a cool monument here!
By the way, the author is Zurab Tsereteli, but he's small and cute! Perfectly executed, in its place in the city.
