The pool is a part of the large sports building owned by the Tula State University along with the Institute of Pedagogy, Physical Education, Sports and Tourism. The TSU swimming pool located at Prospekt Lenina along with the main building, was built at the turn of 1999 and 2000 according to the project by architect S. V. Borisov. Today, like 20 years ago, it shapes the campus design and contributes to the sports education of university graduates.
