The starting point for the formation of a new space (and the literal point) was the curious exhibit "Tula's Savvy Flea". This is a miniature made by the artisan turner Nikolai Aldunin in 2002 based on a famous literary work (although in this case, a real flea was subjected to the shoeing execution). "Lefty" is the most quoted thing by Nikolai Leskov, who managed to capture the national picture of the world, saturate the narrative with the air of national existence, and create, in fact, a new myth.
Mystery, strangeness, irony, and artistry seem to be the most suitable "keys" for the conceptual solution of future exhibitions and the new museum as a whole.
