Monument to V. I. Lenin

The meeting of workers was held on the square near the city council building on 15th of October 1966, dedicated to the opening of the monument to V.I. Lenin. The meeting was opened by the opening address of V.I. Kupriyanov. The opening of the monument was entrusted to the old residents of Uzlovaya - the oldest railwayman, the maschinist of the locomotive depot, V.G. Sorokin, and the oldest medical worker of the city M.Ya. Dry. Machinist MA Korchenkov proposed henceforth to call the square near the building of the City Council named VI. Lenin.
